Spam/Virus filter information
June 11, 2005 11:00 : Dayton Internet has a new spam/virus filter in operation.
The email that you received with the subject line "Dayton Internet has activated New E-Mail Filter Services" is correct.
The password mentioned in the email is only for the spam/virus filter web page and has nothing to do with your dial-in or email passwords.
There is a web site where you can check and adjust your spam filter settings.
You were emailed a username and temporary password to the site.
If you lose the password, all you have to do is to go to the web site, enter your FULL email address and any wrong password.
You will get an invalid password response.
Click on "forgot your Password" and a new password will be emailed to your email address
withing a few seconds. It will contain a temporary password which you can use to enter the web site.
Once you enter the site, set a real password.
